Glorious In Holiness

“Who is like you among the gods, O LORD— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?” -Exodus 15:11

The Glory of God and the Holiness of God are always found together, you can never separate the two.

A true way to discern the counterfeit from the authentic in a move of God is whether what looks glorious is marked by holiness.

In discerning the hand of God, look for that which is holy. It may seem like a very simple point, but a holy God has holy hands, so whatever He puts His hands to will be holy.

God’s intent in adopting us as His children through Jesus Christ is that we would be like Him.

We know that when Christ appears, we shall be like Him”. -1 John 3:2

He is above all, holy.

Holy, holy, holy

Worship in heaven revolves around the Holiness of God. When we pray for heaven to come to earth we are literally asking that it be the same here as it is there.

Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”-Revelation 4:8

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each one holy, holy, holy. And you- Body, Soul and Spirit kept blameless before Him- holy, holy, holy!

“But the God of Peace shall make all of you perfectly holy and shall keep your whole spirit, soul, and body without fault for the arrival of Our Lord Yeshua, the Messiah.” -1 Thessalonians 5:23

God’s intention is nothing less than to make us like Him, to make you and me perfectly holy in body, soul and spirit.

Jesus is glorious in holiness

“Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.” -Psalm 96:9

Our God is indescribably glorious in holiness.

Every true outpouring of the Spirit of God has always been marked by holiness. It’s who He is. Do you think it’s possible to have Him without holiness?

He who alone is Holy, cries out to His people, “Be holy, for I am Holy”.

Every spiritual revival that has ever been sent from heaven arrives by the wind of the Holy Spirit. A holy awe settles upon the people of God as the Spirit of Holiness falls upon the Church.

Darkness flees before the splendor of His holiness! God makes Himself known by the radiance of His Holy Spirit.

There’s no substitute for the real thing

God’s intention goes far beyond giving amazing spiritual experiences. The work of God continually moves us from one degree of glory to another. As we behold Him we’re being changed into His image.

How do I know that I truly love Jesus? Because I find Him glorious in holiness and want to be clothed in Him! I desire to be clothed in His holiness!

The coming outpouring of the Spirit of God

I’m praying for an outpouring of the Spirit of God to come upon the earth. This outpouring is not so that we can see signs and wonders. If signs and wonders are your focus then you’ve missed the whole point!

God is calling His people to worship Him in the beauty of holiness. He’s inviting us to hold His holy hands and come away with Him!

“My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.” -Song of Songs 2:10
