And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. -Rev 12:10
Notice that the Kingdom of God and the authority of Jesus comes AFTER the accuser is cast down. I can’t help but see that in my own life. There’s been many times throughout the years where I needed to repent of judgmental attitudes, criticism, and hard-heartedness toward others. It was THEN the power came!
This is also why it’s so important to stay free of “offense”.
If I enter into offense and accusation I short-circuit the Kingdom of God in my life. The authority and power that Jesus wants me to walk in does not live in an atmosphere of accusation.
There is no place for accusation if we want to breathe kingdom air and walk in the power of God.
The enemy brings things into our lives through other people not just to hurt us, but to cause us to lash back and become like him, an accuser.
